Brand Assistant

Quark Express and Cumulus working as one:
Brand Assistant offers QuarkXPress users all the power and convenience of complete digital asset management right from a single menu option inside Quark XPress. Features powerful DAM functionality directly from within Quark XPress, brand control through powerful access permissions, convenient online approvals for managers and clients and last but not least, reduced time to market through enhanced workflow efficiency. QXP Companion

Canto's QXP Companion XTension for QuarkXPress 7 provides a convenient palette window interface to Cumulus 7 catalogs.
The relations Cumulus 7 establishes between your layouts and page elements enable you to easily use one to find the other. For example, quickly find all layouts that include a certain file or find all files that are included in certain layouts. But text, images and layouts are not the only things supported by this integration. Composition Zones and Job Jackets also can be cataloged and managed in Cumulus 7. Find the Job Jacket you need, and easily create a compliant QuarkXPress 7 project.

Photo Suite

[Built in to all v6.6/7 Servers]
With Photo Suite you can easily manage RAW image files from a wide array of digital cameras.
RAW image files are 'digital negatives' of excellent quality. When cataloging RAW image files, the Cumulus Digital Camera RAW Filter reads and interprets metadata from these images. The RAW Filter can capture metadata from different RAW image formats defined by the nine leading camera manufacturers, namely, Canon, Fuji, Kodak, Minolta, Nikon, Olympus, Sigma, Sinar and Sony. Photo Suite also supports Canon THM files with the Canon RAW Metadata Support module. RAW images can be converted to TIFF or JPEG files on-the-fly with the Pixel Image Converter from Cumulus. Includes the IPTC Information window.
Note: From v6.5+ Cumulus supports Adobe's DNG format.

Web Publisher Pro

[Built in to all v6.6/7 Publishing edition Servers]
Publish and Market your Digital Assets to the Web with Dynamic Web Pages
The Cumulus Web Publisher Pro is the ideal Option to publish and market your digital assets on dynamically generated Web pages to the Web. Users with a standard Web browser can comfortably search for cataloged assets, convert them as required and collect them into a collection basket. They can choose their preferred method of asset delivery - download, email, or CD ROM shipment - in the built-in ordering system. Appropriate access rights are granted with the built-in user management. Web Publisher Pro is an ideal Sales and Marketing tool, a perfect tool to support the company-wide workflow and the ideal solution to provide production data to customers.

Vault

[Built in to all v6.6/7 Servers]
Track workflow, check assets in and out, and restrict access to certain assets. Enhances basic Cumulus Workgroup functionality for controlled access to assets on your network. Versioning provides access to previous edits of your assets, essential for networks engaged in graphic manipulation, page layout, multimedia production, document creation, etc.

HELIOS Companion

The Cumulus HELIOS Companion will combine the power of Canto's leading digital asset management system with HELIOS' fast, reliable file and print server and server-based image replacement solution. The Cumulus HELIOS Companion will automatically synchronise Cumulus catalogs and HELIOS EtherShare and PCShare volumes when users store new files or make changes to existing files in the HELIOS file system, thus maintaining a familiar user workflow and eliminating the need for manual cataloging.

URL AssetStore

[Built in to all v6.6/7 Servers]
Access assets stored on an FTP and HTTP site to make storage across the Internet as easy as across a network. Files can be uploaded to or downloaded from URL sites in a user-friendly fashion suitable for users engaged in content creation and management.

2PDF AssetProcessor

Integrated PDF creation from within your Cumulus Asset Management system. PDF conversion is often the last step in creation of your assets prior to deployment. PDF creation using 2PDF AssetProcessor can be available to your users in an intuitive fashion using a single menu option for either single assets or batch mode PDF creation.

Video Suite

Find, manage and stream entire videos or individual shots.
The Cumulus Video Suite enables Cumulus Enterprise or Workgroup server to manage video files as well as individual shots of a video. Due to an award winning shot boundary detection technology Video Suite can automatically create records, previews and thumbnails for each shot in the video, which then can be annotated with additional metadata. Cumulus Video Suite also supports streaming for viewing video files and individual shots over the Internet.
Users can preview videos and shots directly in Cumulus and also edit and view the metadata of each shot. This substantially simplifies the searching and accessing of specific parts of a video.

Viewer

Publish your assets on a CD or DVD or any removable media and distribute them with a royalty-free Cumulus Viewer that has the look and search capabilities of Cumulus Single User.

Internet Client Pro

[Built in to all v6.6/7 Business edition Servers]
Internet Client Pro is based on the Cumulus Java Classes and JSP technology and is especially designed for users who do not merely publish their assets but also intend to use them for marketing and generating business, eg marketing departments, ad agencies, publishing houses, museums and the like. Enables users to create dynamic web pages, allowing visitors to search, select and place orders via a collection basket.

Office Suite

[Built in to all v6.6/7 Servers.]
Lets users catalog and manage MS Office documents such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
When cataloging, Office Suite captures all text contained in the documents, including the main text itself, header information or foot notes, slide text and slide notes. In addition to this, it captures information such as author, date and version contained in Microsoft Office Compound Documents. Cataloged assets can now be found quickly and easily for reuse or for its integration into new material.

PDF AssetStore

Archive and manage individual PDF pages contained within whole PDF documents automatically. Users can subsequently search, view and browse individual PDF pages. PDF AssetStore allows users to extract individual pages from one or more original PDF documents to create new complete PDF documents sourced from a wide range of originals.

QXP AssetStore

Archive and manage individual QuarkXPress pages and entire QuarkXPress documents. Cumulus will build its own thumbnail and preview of each page of your Quark document for easier visual recognition. Use Cumulus to extract the enclosed text into a searchable form. Manage your images in Cumulus by customer and job number. After you have found your images using Cumulus, then Drag and Drop the images directly from Canto Cumulus into your Quark layouts.
