Cumulus Installation & Training Services
The Onsite Installation & Training Services provided by DataBasics are designed to instruct the designated Cumulus Administrator and up to 5 Cumulus users (larger groups on request) on the installation, setting up and initial use of Cumulus in the workplace. Consulting services are also provided. Cumulus Upgrade users should contact us or their Reseller to discuss requirements.

Onsite Services Products

Workgroup/Enterprise Services up to 5 DAYS comprises a mix of consulting, implementation planning, installation, configuration, administration and user training as required.

- Cumulus registration and license update
- user administration and permissions setup
- basic database and catalog preferences setup
- getting to know Cumulus - definitions, functions and usage
- instruction on cataloguing, organising, and searching for assets
- maintenance and backup procedures.
Administration and User Training Manuals are supplied with the onsite training courses which are designed to complement the Canto Installation, Administration and Client User Guides that come with the software.

Onsite Services Prerequisites
DataBasics will need details in writing of:
- street address and access details
- name & contact details of designated Cumulus Administrator
- name & contact details of IT and/or Technical staff if different from above
- hardware platform/operating system for installation (server & clients)
- Cumulus edition and version, number of clients, and any additional Options
- number/names of people attending & any previous Cumulus or other database experience
- outline of planned usage of Cumulus ie expectations
- any special requirements.
Canto Certification for Resellers/Integrators
Reseller/Integrator Canto Technical Certification and Sales training is usually held once a year. If you are interested in Reseller Training, please contact us atinfo@databasics.com.au
Upgrade Training
Onsite Installation/Training for those UPGRADING from previous versions of Cumulus is available on request. Email support@databasics.com.au to discuss your requirements or contact your Reseller.
