Canto Cumulus 7.6.1 Release

And Canto Cumulus 8 on its way! As excitement builds for the next major release of Cumulus, Cumulus 8 due in May/June - and recently previewed by CEO Uli Knocke in a series of free Seminars around the country - the Canto team have been steadily improving the current release of Cumulus and providing more information on using Cumulus in the workplace.

Features of Cumulus 7.6.1 include:

• Visio Support - Enhanced metadata support is now available for Microsoft Visio. When Visio files are cataloged, their entire text contents can be extracted and saved as searchable metadata by Cumulus.
• SCORM Support - Cumulus now supports Sharable Content Object Reference Models (SCORM). This support is provided by a special SCORM AssetStore and Filter. For more info about SCORM see http://www.scorm.com.au
• HELIOS AssetProcessor - the HELIOS AssetProcessor provides a new option that allows specifying additional layout parameters.
• and last but not least: InDesign CS4 Support - the Cumulus InDesign plug-in now supports InDesign CS4.
