Dynagram at drupa 2008

Dynagram to Introduce Optimisation and Planning within professional imposition software at DRUPA 2008.

DynaStrip, inpO2 and INposition will be demonstrated at Dynagram's stand in the Canadian Pavilion, Hall 7, booth 7.0J, and in the JDF Experience Parc, Hall 9, booth E61, as well as in many partner's stands.

In the CIP4 JDF Experience Parc, Dynagram will be showing several live JDF workflows along with MIS and RIP solutions. In the demonstrations, Dynagram will show how JDF files produced by the MIS systems are processed and imposed in DynaStrip 5.2 then JDF imposition data is passed on to the RIP for processing. In addition, a JDF printing workflow will be shown with inpO2 3.0. Canto Cumulus Power Tips

This PowerTip shows you how easy is it to use Cumulus to organise files, no matter where the files reside, even if you're not yet a Cumulus master.

The benefits of pre-organising asset collections prior to cataloging them into production are numerous. Here are just a few:

• Easily spot duplicate assets, even across servers.
• Ensure no "stray" copies of assets reside on your servers.
• See a complete inventory of absolutely every asset you have, making it much easier to devise a useful taxonomy, and make sure no asset resides in an unsecured network location.

But keep in mind, a single Cumulus Server can host any number of catalogs. What's more, you can add new ones - and delete those you no longer need - anytime you like. You might not think about 'temporary' catalogs, but they can be really helpful in certain circumstances, such as this Power Tip.

We'll create a brand new 'temporary' catalog and use it solely for the purpose of moving assets where we want them. When we're done, we'll delete the catalog. At that point, the assets will be where you want them, ready to be cataloged into your production catalogs.
