Dynagram - DynaStrip Dongle Activation Process
The DynaStrip dongle is a HASP dongle and requires exchange of files between the customer and
Dynagram. These files are called C2V (for customer to vendor/Dynagram file)
and V2C (for vendor/Dynagram to customer).
Here is how to proceed, the information is found in the 'getting started' with each DynaStrip package:
In order to activate DynaStrip, you need to send your USB dongle information
to Dynagram via your distributor/reseller - DataBasics (PO Box 399 Smithfield Cairns 4878 QLD).
Step 1: Connect the dongle to a USB port of the computer on which you have
installed the drivers and utilities.
Step 2: Launch DynaStrip.
Step 3: In DynaStrip, select Feature Password in the Tools menu.
Step 4: Click on the "Export C2V" button.
Step 5: Browse and save the C2V (customer to vendor) file on your computer,
and email it to your distributor, DataBasics (support@databasics.com.au) with your activation request.
This encrypted file contains the image of your
hardware key and all its license history.
Upon receipt of your activation request, Dynagram or will
send you or your distributor a V2C (vendor to customer) file that you need to load into
DynaStrip to activate the license:
Step 1: On the same computer on which you have installed the drivers and
utilities, ensure that your dongle is connected and select Feature Password
in the Tools menu.
Step 2: Click on the "Import V2C" button.
Step 3: Browse to the V2C file on your computer and click Open.
Step 4: Relaunch DynaStrip.
To see your licence and dongle status, choose About DynaStrip from the Help
menu.
